Recording, editing, and duplicating of audio materials.  Charges based on time and materials.  Work done on a time-available basis.

Sound isolation rooms and supporting equipment for capturing and editing audio.  Open to all UIUC faculty, staff, and students.  User registration and fees apply.

 


Training, access, and assistance for utilizing computerized multimedia in the general assignment classrooms.  In support of instructor-based delivery of computerized course material in a multimedia presentation.



High-speed, digital output from paper originals, disks, or electronic files sent over the campus network.  A variety of binding, finishing, and specialty printing options are available.

 

 



For copyright clearance and customization of instructional materials in the classroom:  handouts, course notes, problem sets, tests and presentation graphics.

Development of strategies and materials for classroom organization and course instruction; consultative assistance with individual and departmental instruction and assessment of curricula.  Training for peer observation of teaching for purposes of assessment.

Assistance with film research, film rentals from distributors, film festivals, speakers, and other general events of cinematic interest.

Course packets can be purchased at IUB or distributed through departments.

Assorted audio/visual equipment for use by medical sciences faculty and students.


Many types of audio/visual equipment, including 16mm motion picture projectors, slide projectors, screens, tape recorders, and overhead and opaque projectors. Reservations are required.


Multi-standard VCRs, tape/CD players, camcorders, and multimedia classrooms available for use in FLB. Reservations are required.

Microphone access for public address systems. Requires key authorization card.


Tape recorders, camcorders, transcribers, microphones, etc., available to College of Education faculty and students for a limited loan period.

 

Professional-quality video cameras (analog and digital) and digital still cameras available. Open to all UIUC faculty, staff and students. User registration and fees may apply.




Operators for 16mm projectors and video playback available weekdays 8-5 and after hours on a funded basis. Reservations are required.



Self-service copiers for faculty and staff use.

 

Variety of audiovisual equipment. Reservations are required.

Provides a range of imaging modalities and supporting equipment for the preparation, imaging and analysis of microscopic specimens. Instruments in the facility support electron (TEM, Environmental SEM), light (fluorescence, multi-photon confocal, reflected light) and scanning probe (AFM, NSOM) microscopy.
