The Employment Center: Steps for Academic Professional PositionsAre you ready to fill a new or refill an existing Academic Professional position? Look below for quick reference checklists for assuring you have completed all necessary steps toward establishing or refilling your position and getting your search underway. General questions may be forwarded to Academic Human Resources* at: 333-6747 or by e-mailing AHR Policy. Steps for establishing a new academic professional position or refilling an existing vacancy where there have been significant position changes:* q Complete the Principal Administrative Position Exemption (PAPE) form using DART. Please note, if refilling an existing vacancy and there have been no significant changes in the position, no PAPE is required q Access DART by entering your Enterprise ID and password q

on PAPE q Continue to PAPE log in screen and enter BANNER Org Code the vacancy and select the payroll campus of the position q Complete the PAPE form q
Forward
for Review as required by your college or send to HR q Person requesting PAPE approval will receive an e-mail from AHR Steps for Search Approval: q
Attach
PAPE e-mail approval to Office of Equal Opportunity and Access
(Affirmative q
Submit
search materials to Office of Equal Opportunity and Access for review q
Unit
receives approval from Office of Equal Opportunity and Access and obtains
Search number. Steps for posting vacancy announcements on the Employment Center: q Access DART by entering your
Enterprise ID and password q Click on Job Postings q Enter your BANNER Org Code for the vacancy and select the payroll campus of the
position q View list of postings for your unit and their status q Choose to add a new posting q Complete the posting q Electronic Job Posting routed to AHR for release to the Employment Center q Forward for Review as required by your college or send to HR *University Administration units should contact The University Office of Human Resources with PAPE questions at 333-2590 and The University Office of Human Relations and Equal Opportunity with questions about conducting a search at 333-7925. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
